James Anest and Sean McDermott serve up more experience in entertainment that one can possibly have at one sitting-and that's a good thing, because they are planning on seeing you more than once...


SEAN McDERMOTT is recognized as one of Broadway’s leading performers starring as Chris in MISS SAIGON, Billy Flynn in CHICAGO, the title roles in JEKYLL AND HYDE, Jesus in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, Whizzer in FALSETTOS, Rusty in STARLIGHT EXPRESS, Danny Zuko in GREASE, Billy Bigelow in CAROUSEL, and Gaylord Ravenal in SHOWBOAT. Off-Broadway he played the role of Larry in the critically acclaimed revival of THE BOYS IN THE BAND and “Down Under” Sean got rave reviews for his portrayal as Tony in WEST SIDE STORY for the Victoria State Opera in Sydney, Australia.

On television, Sean starred as Hart Jessup in the long running CBS daytime drama GUIDING LIGHT. His guest star appearances include DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, MEDIUM, CHARMED and FREDDIE. He has also appeared on NBC'S THE TONIGHT SHOW with Jay Leno and Johnny Carson, and performed outside at Rockefeller Center with THE TODAY SHOW.


JAMES ANEST became known as a concert and Oratorio singer having performed over 30 works by Handel, Mendelssohn, Britten, and Vaughan Williams. Anest continued building his repertoire as an operatic singer, having sung with numerous opera companies, including the Los Angeles Opera for several seasons. His operatic repertoire includes in Don Giovanni, La Boheme, Carmen, The Magic Flute, The Elixir of Love, Falstaff, The Girl of the Golden West, Aida, Lohengrin, and The Damnation of Faust.
Anest is particularly noted for his starring roles in stage musicals including Emile De Becque in Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific (opposite Broadway star Stephanie Block), Gaston in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Gallo in The Fantasticks, Danilo in The Merry Widow, Lancelot in Camelot, Lord Byron in How Do I Love Thee, Petrovich in Crime and Punishment, and The Pirate King in Joseph Papp's adaptation of The Pirates of Penzance. Anest has also been acclaimed for his non-singing roles of Max in Lend Me a Tenor and Petruchio in Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew.


Both artists are listed on numerous recordings and videos and still continue to add to their respective discographies - Including an Amazing Tenors CD that is slated to be released the end of 2012. James and Sean have been performing extensively in the corporate world for over 15 years, having sung with numerous Singing Waiter and other showcase acts. "It was natural for us to take what we learned, the good and bad...we felt we could do it at a much higher level, so we created the Amazing Tenors.
